Default The "Visible" sewing machine, (vibrating shuttle type)

I really like these little ones, the New Home Midget or Little Worker, etc. I have 2 but only one shuttle and 1 bobbin. Well the complete one, was the 2nd lpurchased, (SMs seem to arrive in pairs) Once I was happy with the sewing on that one, I decided to get the old grungy one that was missing parts sewing with the shuttle from the other. It turned freely and thought I wouldn't have many challenges. well, 1st off the bobbin ran into the race in front and wouldn't go past it. It dawned on me though that you can remove the raceway (for lack of a better term,...what the shuttle rides against) It would also hit the needle and not want to go past. My 1st thought was "bent needlebar". But with a little more tinkering, and more cleaning.
