I love Loralie's fabrics, they're so funky and cool. They've been sitting in my stash for ages waiting for the right project.
I think just about everyone these days has their own "cancer story", whether they're effected personally or through someone close. My sister lost her husband a few years ago, aged just 34, then her son was diagnosed at 7 (thankfully he's in remission now), and now hubby's ex is in the final stages of her losing battle with the horrid disease.
Throughout it all, for me, the overwhelming theme is love and support... from friends, family, and complete strangers. It's the one shining light in what can be such a dark time.
