I love this method and use them on wall hangings all the time. But I hesitate to put them on a quilt that will be used. The FG pockets will catch on things and be a temptation for children to "pick". The curved pieces can be stitched through all layers of the fabrics, so there isn't any pocket anymore. It still gives a nice dimentional affect to the piece
