On top of the whole load of crap, DD finally had a doc check out why her shoulder has been bothering her for - oh about 2 years - and had rotator cuff surgery a week and a half ago. I couldn't help out, because as many of you know, I have my own shoulder prob and am now in AZ, but DD's GREAT college roomie doesn't start her new job until Jan, so she played caretaker from the day before the surgery until 10 days later. This is the year I REALLY wish DH and I had braved CT's winter - DD lives in NY's Hudson River Valley - BRRRRRRRRRRRR.
