I wanted one of these devices and dies because the arthritis in my hands is making it very painful for me to cut. Have you considered looking on Craig's List? My daughter tells me that you can even post on Craig's list that you are looking for a used item. People sell them all the time. So it doesn't hurt to look. Maybe ask at your local quilt shop to see if they know of someone looking to get rid of one.
