Somewhere I have a pattern for a floor quilt that looks like a giant flower. It would be simple to make as the pieces are large. I think you could draw one out freehand on a large piece of paper or plastic and save the price of a pattern. Sometimes we just need to think outside the box. Like the paint canvas idea too.
