Oh...and I just searched for "P foot" on Janome.com and they have it listed there but it sounds like it's JUST for embroidery machines.
Part #830810042, the description is simply, "Standard foot used for professional style embroidery on all Janome embroidery machines." The listing for feet under the 6600 doesn't include this foot so I am assuming it would NOT fit the 6600.
