I am hit or miss with my labels. Sometimes I do and sometimes I am in too big of a hurry to fool around with it. I also use my embroidery machine to stitch it out. My favorite way to put them on is to fold them into a triangle and attach it into a corner as I sew on the binding. This way two edges of the binding catch the label into the corner and it is there attached very strongly. Then it is a matter of just ladder stitching the loose folded edge of the label onto the backing. Done!
