Could I suggest that your friend look into some of the wipes that are available? May they be able to use a regular paper for 'normal' usage and maybe cushy wipes for needed times? Just note that there are several reports from the UK particularly about diaper wipes causing huge septic issues in municipal systems there. Just a thought and caution.
I read not too long ago that there reports of municipal sewage systems in the US having big problems because of the increased use of wipes. Most of the wipes say on the package that they are not flushable but I guess people don't read the packaging.
