I make mine, but don't always label every quilt. I should. My labels consist of teeny tiny 16 patches and my name and date. I know it's probably not enough info, but I want the quilt to be about the recipient, not me. On Grad quilts for my nephews, I used my embroidery machine and included a bible verse, their names, and occasion. For my youngest DD, I used the lettering on my sewing machine to put a verse on the binding. It's very subtle, and you really have to know to look for it.
