I have made them by printing with inkjet printer, drawing a border design and then lettering with permanent pens, used pre-printed fabric labels, and simply written on a plain piece of fabric and sewed it on. There are so many easy ways to get a label on and it is important that in the future someone knows who made that quilt and why.
