You are in great company here. I'm happy to see so many of us using and reusing perfectly good fabrics in our quilting. I love the dust ruffles also, because they get practically no wear just hanging there at the bottom of the bed. Some people don't even put them on and they are brand new when you find them.
And boy can you cut some nice long borders from them!!
I also love scrubs for finding sturdy, good quality novelty fabrics. And in all clothing to deconstruct, the larger the size, the better!
Two thrift stores I shop for fabrics know me so well they are always wanting me to bring in my quilts so they can see what I have made from the purchases I make there.
