I make mine, but if someday I ever have an embroidery machine, they will be so much more beautiful!! Right now, I hand write with a pigma pen, then border it with fabric from the quilt front. This I stitch by machine to the quilt backing, or by hand after the quilting is done. Depends on if I remember to add it before or not. LOL
I prefer to do it before as that makes it harder to remove. And yes, I label All my quilts.
