Please label your quilts. You may know what they are and who made them, and maybe some other members of your family know, but what about 50 or 100 years from now? No one will remember who you are, who you made the quilt for, or the year it was made. I have quilts that even I can't remember when I made, if it wasn't for the label on the back. Just think, someone will find your quilt (because they will outlast us all) in an antique store 100 years from now and it will have a big price tag because its provenance will be documented. Otherwise it will be used to sop up the oil from under the car then thrown away.
