Yes. On my machine all it took was some adjustment at the point where Miriam indicated with her screwdriver. I didn't need to remove the screw or modify anything.
On my machine I am using a real Singer hand wheel, and only the aftermarket HC so that might make a difference. I do know the aftermarket hand wheels sometimes are different in the area the bobbin winder wheel rolls.
