A member of my quilting group picked up this machine FREE from "Freecycle" here in the UK and oh dear has it been badly abused, hasn't been cleaned or more importantly oiled for quite a few decades. So much so that most of the press button selectors have seize up, with some very careful and and scant use of some oil I have managed to start the moving of some of the parts and have even managed to get a lovely straight stitch with 100% perfect tension, puffed chest as I am so proud of even this progress.
BUT we really need a manual and even after extensive Googling have come up with nothing not even on the make which I find so hard to believe as it a beautiful piece of workmanship but will need a replacement bobbin holder as the machine has been in a damp place and there is some rusting showing.
Can anybody help as, when you see the pics, Betsy as I have named her is far too pretty to languish in a cupboard or even worse
