These surveys for the quilting industry have been done for many years. The surveys keep manufacturers, merchants, publishing companies, and other industry-connected entities, like the companies who put on the shows, up to date with the customers they serve. I think originally the results were published by Quilters Newsletter Magazine and were fascinating to the 'average' quilter.
This is one unsolicited survey you can probably be confident in completing. If any of the questions seem intrusive, just ignore them.
