No kidding! In the past, I have emailed people looking to do leather and gently guided them away from domestics, but I think I'll let that one fall on his face. Just his presentation is likely talking people out of helping him out.
For what it's worth, most of the MC seats I've seen use staples to fit the cover to the seat. I'm not sure what he's intending, unless it's a patchwork cover.
