I was working on my diamond hexie quilt and decided to see how small I could go with hexies.
So here is my experiment.
My diamond is made up of hexies that measure 3/4 inch on a side. The next smallest flower is 1/2 inch on a side and the smallest flower is 3/8 inch on a side. Hexagons are measured by the length of one of the sides. I had some 1/4 hexies cut but that was just too small. My fingers were just too big!1
The second picture is of my progress on my diamond hexie quilt. Out of my comfort zone with modern fabrics and black and white path. Enjoy.
