I made some rosettes with 1.5 inch sides and actually the 3/4 inch ones are easier to handle. I can wrap the hexies, stitch them together and sew on the "path" within 30-40 minutes if no interruptions. Here is the first hexie quilt I made, I just appliqued them to a background block.
