It's simple and you use the same size strips as your unfinished triangle-- 2.5" strips for triangles that finish at 2". No more 7/8" to mess with. Her philosophy is that once you get your 1/4" seam mastered, you don't have to cut these down. I actually had the EZ Angle ruler but had never learned how to use it before Bonnie. The first time I really tried it was for one of her quilts, Roll, Roll, Cotton Boll, which required 600 HSTs. I about choked but this ruler made it a breeze. It's inexpensive and can be purchased with a half price coupon from Joanns.
