I have posted this before, but it's worth saying again! Go to your bank and get an extra ATM card with a visa or mastercard logo on it...ONLY use this card for your internet purchases...if you're going to buy 159.00 worth of stuff, it takes 2 minutes to go to your bank on line and transfer the money...complete your purchase..this way if anyone gets into a site you've visited, they will be faced with an empty card!The banks are much more secure than the internet sites...crooks won't be able to get anything. You can also put an e-mail notification on your card so the bank will tell you whenever there has been a transaction..you will know with lightening speed if a site has been compromised, meanwhile, the cards with your real credit limits can't be touched.
