I paid $2500 for mine in January. It was a floor model with very little use. I absolutely love it!
PatriceJ, when I had an issue with my machine, I contacted Janome directly because I purchased my machine from a dealer 2 hours away. We have since moved and have 2 dealers about 10-15 minutes from the house so wondered about the warranty. Janome told me, in writing, that the local dealers would perform warranty service on the machine for free but they were allowed to charge for their labor. Therefore, I would have to pay something for any warranty work that I had done.
