EB reminds me of my first grade teacher. I have a couple of her books but more for pattern than instruction. I do not agree with many of her methods because I feel that they are very wasteful which is in conflict with the concept of using up or reusing fabrics. What I see in her programs is very basic and for some a good place to start learning about quilts.
I personally don't see any waste in her " method"...... She originally was a school teacher I understand, and that is indeed reflected in her method. I have all of her books, and a few DVDs and actually two video tapes....should have those made into CDs ...and have never had a problem following her instructions....she breaks down patterns into a doable, understandable technique. PS..after I wrote this I realized the original post is quite old....but anyway. VIVA EB!!!!!!
