My Mom realized I was the creative child when I took sewing in 5th grade and bought me my first machine from Montgomery Ward in a cabinet. She also bought me my 2nd machine when I went away to college as a Home Economics major - a Singer which I used for more than 30 years until it finally was unfixable.
