Eleanor Burns is an inspiration to women in her own right. Abandoned by her husband and left to raise two small boys on her own, she is an American success story featuring hard work, perseverance, and creativity. I admire her so much for pulling herself out of a bad situation by building her business, Quilt in a Day. The bonus is that we all reap the benefits of her contributions to the quilting community.
