Congratulations on your great find. I'm sure every time you see this quilt you will be reminded of it. For me part of the fun of quilting is the hunt. I always shop the sale rooms/displays of any shop that I go in. Sometimes they are hard to find and I have to ask but I have found some great fabrics there for 50% off. I also have made some theme quilts (music, car, safari, monkey) that I have searched for several years to find a variety of fabrics. The car and monkey were especially challenging because they were for adults and most of the fabric I found was juvenile in nature or I was finding the same fabric over and over. Sometimes it's very hard to be patient though...
