Instead of using the word Fabric - use "reproductions", "bargellos", "solids"...
It's obviously still fabric - but not quite so obvious... I ran into the same problem when my teenage kids helped me move. I ended up telling them just to put anything that wasn't labeled with a specific room name in the hall way, that I'd move it later... lol. Seemed to make it a tad easier.
