I thoroughly agree. My feeling is that the heavy quilting is an "art thing" and while it is beautiful and a joy to look at, I do not want it on my bed. I tried it with one quilt and it is not warm and cozy. I used it one night and took it off because it was stiff and uncomfortable.I much prefer the quilt that has only enough quilting to hold it together.
