Default omigosh, this is the best thing ever!!

I had to stop in the middle of a row to share. I'm doing STD on a jelly roll quilt, and gripping the quilt is hard, especially in the middle. It's too hot for gloves, the finger cots strangle my fingers, and I've just never hit on the perfect thing. I suddenly remembered reading somewhere (most likely here, where else?) about using new kitchen sponges, the ones with the scrubby on one side.

Well, it's AMAZING!! Set them scrubby side down, and rest your hands gently on the sponge side. It grips perfectly! It's easy on the hands. It's wonderful. God bless whomever suggested this.

OK, back to sewing. This beast needs to be done by Saturday!
