QuiltE I don't know the secret but I have always healed fast, which can be a bummer as you don't get the sympathy for very long
The slice in between my fingers was about 3/4 inch long now looks like a paper cut
The lump is going down a little, if it is still there in a week will head back to the Docs to check it out.
