If you crochet, you can cut it into strips and crochet bags, placemats, etc. with it. Also, I just learned a new technique for making the clothesline bowls. Cut strips 1-1/4" wide, sew strips together, place cotton clothesline (available at any Walmart) in center of strip and sew using a zipper foot, as if you were making piping. Trim the excess fabric as close to the seam as possible. Start a coil and sew with a zig zag and variegated thread, coiling as you go. When the base is approximately 4-5", start angling the base up and continue to coil and sew until the bowl is as tall as you want. You can begin with a circle or with an oval. 8 strips makes a bowl about 3" tall. This is great for left over jelly roll strips, too.
