Default TRYING to Organize starting with paint

I have had these cubes for over a decade but they never got a coat of paint till now. I will be storing my favorite most used fabric bolts in one and quilting supplies in the other. I wanted to match the fabric I am using in my "quilt studio" (actually my living room). Finally was able to find the right shade of lavender. I had planned to paint these cubes with the lavender on the outside and this light cream on the inside. I was lucky to have bought an oops semi gloss enamel quart for half off ($7.00). But then I brought home this sample of green.

Here is my dilemma: I am now painting the bottom and both inside sides with the green. I was planning to paint the door and the front edge in the lavender, If you look at the position of the door (will only be using one drawer on each shelf), will it look odd with the 1" of green that will show?? I just want to get these paint and installed but I want to do it right the first time. THANKS in advance for any assistance !!
