I broke my machine foot while working on this quilt as you go block. Do I really need it for 11 inch blocks? Or should I stop and wait for a new one?

The walking foot helps to slide your quilt sandwich evenly thru with out bunching and etc. It can be done without though a little tougher. I would be tempted to try one and make sure it turns out how you would like it.
