Joe, is the original handwheel you are using original to your 99 Singer or did it come off of another Singer?
I still have not been able to pick up my 99 so I can get to work on it, but even when I do, I'm probably still hesitant to order the original 128 spoked handwheel for fear the hub depth may not work on the 99.
Thanks for letting me know the reproduction hand crank will work with an original Singer handwheel. Is the handle on the reproduction handcrank made of plastic or wood?
