I learned on a quilt that had lots of seams to match, and learned that if I was as accurate as possible, they always matched up much better. If you are 1/8 inch off on a strip set of 4 fabrics, by the time that set is done you are 1/2 inch off. Nothing will come together right that way. I am a lot slower than most quilters, but I no longer have to unsew nearly as often
