Heavy singers are beginning to surface. Here in Canada again, at one time bought singers to sew from home, for garment manufacturers, piece work and used them to make their own clothing. Because the company needed them, for so many uniforms they provided machine or gave huge discounts. Then came the dealer's selling door to door.. Eventually, times got better sewing faded out, came back where people went to shops to purchase now it is a return to door to door delivery via internet. I once did a school presentation on ELNA the inventor of sewing machine.
