Well your aunt loved that machine too. How would she feel if she knew you were using it? Pretty happy, I'd think.
A little of your favourite aunt and a good deal of her history are in that machine, so you could easily give yourself permission to smile and think about what she accomplished on it when she was young when you're using it.
I'd love a machine like that. Well, technically I have one - a 15-91 clone, but Japanese, later, blue so not quite the same as a black Singer centennial. Did you know they're so strong
they'll sew through tin cans with a standard needle?
