The seller got right back to me. He told me that he guarantees safe shipping and he is sending me a new part by airmail along with a 221 manual for my trouble :D
He said that it is the bobbin winder and also gave me detailed instructions on how to replace it. This person sells some really beautiful sewing machines on Ebay and has 100% good feedback and I can see why :thumbup:
