I don't have that Pfaff. Mine is an Expression 2, but I hate to think of any Pfaff with a problem. I have not had that problem, but I was wondering if you could just sort of "sand" it, if you think it may have a sharp edge? Maybe an emery board would work, or you could cut one down if it was too big.
You will surely have better answers than mine though.
I think I would be tempted to just continue skipping that guide.
