I'm kind of a dork - I keep a spreadsheet at home for thread (so I know what I have bought, what I paid, etc.) and I've been trying to log the Fabric.com names to correlate with the Aurifil numbers as I buy them.

I have a sort of similar gripe with CT thread...the colors aren't on the spool anymore once you take the wrapping off. That bugs me too. For a long time I tried to keep little labels with each spool but they got lost track of and so now all my thread is just there in a bin and I have no idea what color is what. I wish they would at least sell a color chart, so when I need to reorder a particular blue, I could figure out which one it is.
