As I was in line at the local thrift store, the lady ahead of me was checking out a pr of shoes. The lady working says to her, "My, those are nice. I wish I had known we had them. Let me show you the pairs in the back...I've put back to pay for on payday. Mine are really nice!!" I was so tempted to tell her I'd pay for them right on the spot. She had a whole pile of goodies she had stockpiled in the back. I just put my stuff down and walked out before I got myself in trouble. I think what bothered me most was her bragging about what she was doing. If she really needed the stuff and quietly put it back, it would have been different.
