I must have the Canadian version of the case (to go with the 503J with the special Canadian patents. I've never seen anything different on this model vs a 503A... )

The case in the photo basically sits up against the machine's bed from the bottom. The bed rests on it, and the case is a little loose, so the feet from the machine actually sit on the table.
