Evy that made me sad, while its not necessary to do what PlanoDebbie did but damn how hard is it to take a picture or two write a letter and send it back? Flat people are not a thing here, If I ever get the chance to host a flat person I hope that I remember this quilt.
I loved the "Flat Stanley/Flat Self" project when I was teaching! Your quilt will make quite a memory Plano Debbie, and what a wonderful example you set.
Billie, what's even more sad and discouraging are the kids who can't come up with anyone to send their "Flat Self" to and so that's when my relatives would be asked to help. That only happened a couple of times, but it's a heart-breaker. We never had anyone not send something back. Thank goodness.
