I, too, saw the use of a Tailor's Clapper on Nancy's Notions. I have used one for over 50 years in garment sewing; but it had never occurred to me to use it in quilting. I never sew wool without using it. From now on, I'll be using it with lots of steam, like PaperPrincess, when my seams need help to stay flat.
