Thanks, y'all! I have always used the first method as well, having been taught to never sew on a cut bias edge if you can help it. Then, I watched Bonnie Hunter's clip and wondered what everyone else did. Any way, thanks again!
Oh, I wouldn't say never sew on a bias cut......how about setting triangles,peaky&spikey block, and I'm sure there are a few more.....it depends on how many HSTs I need..or if I'm using scraps, yardage...sometimes squares, sometimes cut from strips with right angle template, like BH, or even thangles or triangles on a roll......and now I have a GO, so if I can I use the die.......
