I live in a retirement community on the lake. No yard to speak of, but a small spot in the nook between the house and shed. We put a 24" high fence to keep the rabbits out and planted a garden. This "Mariners Compass" faces the lake, but there are 2 rows of houses between the painting and the lake, can be seen from the road behind our house. There are no houses there because they leave those lots open for seasonal people that come in motorhomes and fifth wheels. I love where we live and now I have a little haven to retreat to when I want to relax. Am decorating it up a little with bird baths, planters, etc. I hope you will post pictures of yours when you do them.!!!!
