Blackberry, That is a really nice machine. It looks a lot like my blue Dressmaker clone. From what I can see the cabinet it not in that bad of shape. It can be repaired. If the veneer is just lifting and separating you can use a hack saw blade and or a plastic credit card to work glue under the lifted area. Then clamp it down securely until the glue dries. The finish is just age and wear.
