gmta...i think of it as making a big quilt block too. Putting on the backing means accomplishment to me.
I feel energized by "the coming together".
I think part of what we're hearing is how cumbersome some of it can be if you don't have enough room or enough support for such large pieces.
I think every quilter should make it just as easy on themselves as their pocketbook will allow.
This is supposed to be FUN
