I have found that not lining up can be due to basting, do you baste seams before you fully sew them. I am just learning this now as I did one block from starr fabrics that didn't line up. Carol doaks PP class on craftsy is awesome. I do agree her instructions are not the easiest. I have several JN patterns and have read one and I can see it will take me a minute. I would email judy
